Pets

They were family. Their memory deserves to keep growing.

A living memorial tree, cultivated in specially prepared soil that carefully incorporates cremated ashes and nurtured here in British Columbia. Families may send either all of the ashes or just a portion - whatever feels right to them. For some, a Tribute Tree becomes the memorial itself. For others, it exists alongside an urn, a keepsake, or another way of remembering.

Each Tribute Tree is cultivated under careful supervision before coming home ready to plant or pot. Chosen to thrive indoors or out, each tree becomes a living presence shaped by love, memory, and care.
We know what this loss feels like
The grief that follows the loss of a pet is real - even if the people around you don't always treat it that way.
You're allowed to take your time. You're allowed to keep their ashes for months, for years, until something feels right. There is no wrong timeline, and there is no obligation to decide everything right away. If you're still thinking through what BC families typically do with pet ashes, this guide covers every option.

When you're ready, we're here. A Tribute Tree offers a living place to keep them close.

Grown with Care and Science

The cultivation process takes between four and eight weeks and is both precise and considered.

With careful attention to soil chemistry and structure, we gradually incorporate your pet's ashes into a stable, balanced environment that supports strong root development and long-term growth.
  • Gradual incorporation safely integrates ashes with high pH and mineral content.
  • Soil conditions are managed to support healthy root development from the start.
  • Each tree is monitored throughout cultivation to ensure strength and durability.

How your Pet's Memorial Tree is Created

1. Choose Your Tree
Select the tree that best aligns with your space and the pet you wish to honour.
2. Receive Your Stewardship Kit
We designed our kit with pet families in mind. Whatever your pet's ashes came home in - a wooden box, a tin, a small bag - the kit walks you through everything simply. Each kit includes a labeled collection container and secure, pre-paid return packaging, with a unique QR code and ID so your pet's ashes are tracked throughout the entire process. There is no guesswork.

3. We Grow Your Tree
Once we receive your pet's ashes, cultivation begins. We'll confirm your exact timeline depending on the amount you send.

4. Your Tree Comes Home
When your tree arrives, you decide where it lives - near their favourite spot in the garden, by the window where they used to wait for you, or somewhere else they would have chosen.

Where Their Memory Grows

Some families choose an indoor Tribute Tree - a living presence that remains close through everyday moments and changing seasons.
Others choose an outdoor tree for the garden, backyard, or balcony where memories already live.
Both are carefully cultivated in British Columbia and available for cats, dogs, and any companion you've loved.

The Living Promise Guarantee

Your Tribute Tree is covered by our one-year Living Promise Guarantee.

If your tree does not thrive during its first year, we will replace it - no complicated process, just a conversation.
