The Shooting Star Tree Program was created for families who have experienced miscarriage, TFMR, stillbirth, or the loss of a young child and have chosen cremation. We carefully incorporate their cremated ashes into specially prepared soil and cultivate a beautiful living memorial tree in their memory.

Each tree is cultivated in specially prepared soil that carefully incorporates cremated ashes in a way that supports healthy, lasting growth.
There Is No Single Right Way
Families may choose to send either all of the cremated ashes or just a portion - whatever feels right to them.
Some families also choose to create more than one tree so grandparents, siblings, or multiple households can each have something living of their own.

Shooting Star Trees are offered in three beautiful dwarf varieties: Japanese Maple, Flowering Cherry, and Blue Spruce.
We chose these smaller outdoor trees with young families in mind. They are easy to care for, happy on a patio or in a small garden, and can move with you if where you live today isn't your forever home.
Each offers something different through the seasons - changing leaves, spring blossoms, and new growth year after year.
